Hester & Company is a commercial real estate appraisal firm established in 1988. With an office in Raleigh, NC the firm covers the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill metropolitan area and surrounding counties. . Thomas Hester is the president of the firm and as chief appraiser is actively involved in each appraisal assignment. He has been in the commercial appraisal business in Raleigh since joining Worthy & Wachtel, Inc. in 1981. He was awarded the MAI designation by the Appraisal Institute on May 18, 1988, and started Hester & Company later that year. Hester is currently certified under the Appraisal Institute's continuing education program and is a state certified general appraiser.
