The Lawson hammock Company was founded in 1997 and built around our flagship product " The Blue Ridge camping hammock". Being outdoor enthusiasts who spent an average of 75-100 days a year in the wilderness it was important for us to find a tent that was lightweight, weatherproof, extremely tough, and most importantly could be set up on a variety of terrain. Our search took us to the Blue Ridge camping hammock, and we fell in love with it. Since then we have improved the product, patented it, and began marketing it worldwide.
