For 20 years, Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas (LFS) has offered information, individualized consultation, referral, adoptive home studies, and post-placement supervision to those seeking to adopt children from the United States and internationally. Pre-adoption counseling and educational programs and post adoption support services are also offered. Each year approximately 100 orphaned, abandoned or legally relinquished children join loving, permanent families through the efforts of our adoption program. Professionally trained, highly skilled social workers are available to prospective adoptive families throughout North and South Carolina to conduct home study and post placement services in a timely manner.
