The Iceplex is dedicated to cultivating and developing players in the sport of ice Hockey. We focus on the proper training of coaches and improving hockey skills in an atmosphere that promotes good sportsmanship with the emphasis on having FUN. Our Learn To Play Hockey program is designed to teach the basic skills of hockey in a systematic and progressive manner while at the same time being fun for all participants. Our introductory programs from skating to ice hockey allow for a high level of flexibility in instruction and are adjusted to teach each player based on his or her capabilities and previous experience. After participation, skaters should be ready to move on to our Level II clinic or C League or even repeat the Learn To Play Hockey Level I in order to enhance their skills. This class provides 15 minutes of warm up, 45 minutes of drills, and 1 hour of scrimmage time.
